About YMMC
Ystrad Mynach Motor Club is a young and vibrant Motor Club based in South Wales, UK. We have a rich history and are proud to be one of the UK’s oldest Motor Clubs. Our members all share a common bond in motor sport, a subject that evokes both passion and debate. Most of our club members are involved in rallying but we love all forms of motoring and motor sport. We involve ourselves in all aspects of motor sport ranging from training, tuition and how to get started right the way through to on event support and competition participation. So whether you are a regular attendee or new to motor sport Ystrad Mynach Motor Club is the club for you!
Club Nights
We meet every Tuesday night from 8.00pm at the Coopers Arms Ystrad Mynach, Anyone is welcome on our club night so come along and tuck into a sandwich while we talk about motor sport. We will usually have a DVD on the go and some weeks we have special events such as navigational exercises, marshal training, quizzes, games and treasure hunts.
Over the past few years we have been involved in arranging a regular Autotest located in Bryn Quarry in Gelligaer. This has now become a regular fixture on our calendar. The Autotest is usually twice a year and involves classes in Rally Cars, Road Cars and Quad bikes. Not sure of what an Autotest is?
