Cilwendeg Rally 2010 This Weekend

This weekend is the 50TH Anniversary of the Rali Cilwendeg Rally. The event which again is sponsored by West Wales Motorsport Fabrication take place on the evening of Saturday 30th November.

Approximately 140 miles of classic West Wales roads and some farm tracks and a tight time schedule will provide a competitive and enjoyable challenge for all classes of competitors. A number of notable competitors from Rallies past are taking part. Ex World Rally co-drivers Nicky Grist and Phil Mills are two such names that will be familiar to a lot of people.

The event looks like it is going to be massively popular with over 400 subscribers to the Rallies face book page alone. The Start Car park will be at the Newcastle Emlyn Cattle Market – Map reference 145 / 306 406¼. The finish venue will be at the The Emlyn Arms Hotel, Newcastle Emlyn. Map Reference 145 / 308 408. Car ‘0’ will have it’s route hand out at 21.35 hrs at MC 0. Signing On Location. Car ‘0’ will leave MC 1 at 23.05 hrs.
